Low water pressure, an inlet valve that does not open, a probe that misreads, or a drain valve leaking water away all leave the level short, and the machine stops with E5. A supply valve left partly shut, a clogged filter cartridge, low building pressure or a sticking inlet valve are the usual causes. Make sure the water supply valve to the machine is fully open. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### My Atosa shows E5 but the water is on. Why? Pressure may be too low, the filter may be clogged, or the inlet valve or level probe may not be working. A drain valve that leaks lets the water escape as fast as it fills. ### Can a water filter cause E5 on an Atosa? Yes. Atosa ships its machines with a 3M filter system, and an overdue cartridge restricts the flow enough to trip E5. ### Will my Atosa restart after E5 by itself? The manual does not describe an automatic retry for the display models.
