The dispenser's level sensor watches the water that feeds the freezing cylinder. When the level stays low, the board stops with E05 and blinks the Ice and Water buttons alternately. Blue Air points to a closed shut-off valve, low pressure, the water valve or the level sensor. Blue Air ice machine display · also shown as Ice & Water buttons blink alternately What to do when E05 shows on the ice machine ### Kind of code Water supply The water side came up short: the trough did not fill in the time allowed, the float or level probe never saw water, or water kept flowing when the inlet valve should have closed. A supply valve left partly shut, a clogged filter cartridge, low building pressure or a sticking inlet valve are the usual causes. Opening the valve fully and fitting a fresh filter clears the simple cases; a valve that hums without passing water is a visit. ### Usually leads to Ice machine water valve and filter repair The inlet valve, filter, sump float or level probe and supply line, tested and replaced when water arrives short, dirty or nonstop. ### Shows up as Ice Machine Error Code or Flashing Light: What It Is Telling You An ice machine error code may show as a number on a small display, a pattern of blinking lights on the control board, a colored light on the front, or a machine that stops with one indicator flashing. ### Make Blue Air Blue Air ice machine calls start by reading the controls and looking at the evaporator for scale that slows the freeze. ### Source Blue Air BLDN-280A countertop ice and water dispenser manual BLDN-280A countertop nugget ice and water dispenser. ## Before you book, in this order. Open the water shut-off valve fully. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### The buttons on my Blue Air dispenser blink back and forth. What is wrong? That pattern is E05, low water. Start with the shut-off valve and the filter. ### Can the water dispense still work when my Blue Air shows E05? It may not, since both ice and water depend on the same supply. Restoring the water supply is the first step either way. ### Does the Blue Air dispenser need a water filter? Blue Air's maintenance table includes checking the water pressure and replacing the supply filter when needed. --- **[Read on the site: Blue Air E05: the nugget ice dispenser is low on water](https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/blue-air-e05/)** **[Book a visit with IceMachineRepair.center](https://icemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
