The dispenser uses a bin full sensor to stop making ice when its small storage fills. When that sensor reads open or shorted, the board cannot tell how full the bin is and stops with E11. Blue Air ice machine display · also shown as Water button blinks twice a second What to do when E11 shows on the ice machine ### Kind of code Sensors and bin control A sensor is telling the board something that is not true: a bin control that reads full on an empty bin, or empty while ice spills over the top, a curtain switch stuck open, a temperature sensor out of range, or an eye on a dispenser that no longer sees the cup. Scale and slime on a probe or an ultrasonic sensor cause much of it. Clearing ice piled against the bin control is a safe first step; testing and replacing a sensor is a technician's. ### Usually leads to Ice machine bin control repair The thermostat bulb, paddle, curtain switch or electronic eye that senses a full bin, adjusted or replaced so the machine stops and restarts on time. ### Shows up as Ice Machine Error Code or Flashing Light: What It Is Telling You An ice machine error code may show as a number on a small display, a pattern of blinking lights on the control board, a colored light on the front, or a machine that stops with one indicator flashing. ### Make Blue Air Blue Air ice machine calls start by reading the controls and looking at the evaporator for scale that slows the freeze. ### Source Blue Air BLDN-280A countertop ice and water dispenser manual BLDN-280A countertop nugget ice and water dispenser (10 lb built-in storage). ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Blue Air's own guidance for E11 on its ice machines. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Switch the dispenser off and on once. 02 Clean the dispenser as the manual describes if scale or ice buildup may be covering the sensor area. 03 If E11 returns, book a visit so the bin full sensor and its plug can be checked. ### Still there? Switch the dispenser off and on once. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### How is E11 different from a full bin on my Blue Air dispenser? A full bin just pauses production and shows a full-bin indicator. E11 means the sensor itself is not reporting. ### Water button blinking fast on my Blue Air: E03 or E11? Count the blinks: once a second is E03, the gear motor; twice a second is E11, the bin full sensor. ### Can I still get water from my Blue Air dispenser with E11? Blue Air's manual is silent on that. Book a visit so the sensor is replaced and both ice and water work normally. --- **[Read on the site: Blue Air E11: the ice dispenser bin full sensor has failed](https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/blue-air-e11/)** **[Book a visit with IceMachineRepair.center](https://icemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
