Switching off at the machine's own switch for a minute clears a passing glitch. A code that returns, a breaker that trips, or any hot or burning smell means the power stays off and the board, the wiring and the relays are left to a technician. ### Usually leads to Ice machine control board repair The controller, its display, the sensors it reads and their wiring, tested when a code, a blinking light or a dead machine points there. ### Shows up as Ice Machine Error Code or Flashing Light: What It Is Telling You An ice machine error code may show as a number on a small display, a pattern of blinking lights on the control board, a colored light on the front, or a machine that stops with one indicator flashing. ### Make Blue Air Blue Air ice machine calls start by reading the controls and looking at the evaporator for scale that slows the freeze. ### Source Blue Air BLMI modular ice machine user manual (3rd generation evaporator) BLMI modular heads, 3rd-generation evaporator (manual 220627). Turn the machine off at its switch, wait a minute, and turn it back on. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Will a restart clear E7 on my Blue Air? Sometimes. If E7 returns after a full power cycle, the board needs attention. ### Can a power surge cause E7 on a Blue Air? Blue Air only lists the board's own error, but unstable power is worth mentioning since it is a common reason boards misbehave. ### Is E7 on a Blue Air expensive to fix? It depends on whether the board needs replacing. A technician confirms that before any part is ordered. --- **[Read on the site: Blue Air E7: the ice machine control board reports an internal error](https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/blue-air-e7/)** **[Book a visit with IceMachineRepair.center](https://icemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
