Champion 7 and 15 dispensers carry water sensors on the chassis floor. When water reaches them, the screen shows Internal Water Leak Detected and the unit stops until it is reset. Follett's checks start at the incoming water connection at the back and at an internal filter that may not be seated. Follett ice machine display · also shown as Water Leak What to do when Internal Water Leak Detected shows on the ice machine ### Kind of code Water supply The water side came up short: the trough did not fill in the time allowed, the float or level probe never saw water, or water kept flowing when the inlet valve should have closed. A supply valve left partly shut, a clogged filter cartridge, low building pressure or a sticking inlet valve are the usual causes. Opening the valve fully and fitting a fresh filter clears the simple cases; a valve that hums without passing water is a visit. ### Usually leads to Ice machine water valve and filter repair The inlet valve, filter, sump float or level probe and supply line, tested and replaced when water arrives short, dirty or nonstop. ### Shows up as Ice Machine Error Code or Flashing Light: What It Is Telling You An ice machine error code may show as a number on a small display, a pattern of blinking lights on the control board, a colored light on the front, or a machine that stops with one indicator flashing. ### Make Follett A Follett visit weighs how chewable ice is made and moved to the bin or the dispenser before looking at any single part. ### Source Follett Champion 7 and 15 ice and water dispenser manual Champion 7 and Champion 15 ice and water dispensers with Chewblet ice machine (for example CI112A, UC112A, UD112A), touch-screen user interface. ## Before you book, in this order. Close the water supply valve to the dispenser and switch the dispenser off. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I just reset my Champion dispenser after Internal Water Leak Detected? Not until the water is gone and the source is found. The sensors will trip again if the chassis is still wet, and a hidden leak keeps running. ### Where does water usually leak inside a Follett Champion? Follett's checklist starts with the incoming water connection at the back and an internal filter that was not inserted correctly, then the ice bin seals. ### Is this the same as the drip tray message on my Champion? No. Empty Drip Tray only means the tray under the spout is full. The leak message is about water inside the base. --- **[Read on the site: Follett Internal Water Leak Detected: water reached the dispenser chassis](https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/follett-internal-water-leak-detected/)** **[Book a visit with IceMachineRepair.center](https://icemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
