Turn the machine off and back on with the power button, or at the breaker from a dry panel. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### What does the Service light on a KitchenAid ice machine actually point to? KitchenAid does not say. It only asks for one restart, and a light that comes back needs a technician to read the machine. ### Is it safe to keep using my KitchenAid ice machine with the Service light on? If there is no water on the floor and no burning smell, the ice already in the bin is fine to use. Leave the machine off after a second Service light and book a visit. ### Will unplugging my KitchenAid ice machine clear the Service light? A power cycle is exactly the step KitchenAid suggests. If the light returns, the underlying condition is still there. --- **[Read on the site: KitchenAid Service light: the ice machine control found a problem](https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/kitchenaid-service-light/)** **[Book a visit with IceMachineRepair.center](https://icemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
