The door switch starts an alert after 2 minutes open and stops it when the door closes. Any button snoozes it, and pressing Power, Clean and Filter Reset together turns the alarm off or back on. Monogram ice machine display · also shown as Door alert What to do when Door alarm shows on the ice machine ### Kind of code Sensors and bin control A sensor is telling the board something that is not true: a bin control that reads full on an empty bin, or empty while ice spills over the top, a curtain switch stuck open, a temperature sensor out of range, or an eye on a dispenser that no longer sees the cup. Scale and slime on a probe or an ultrasonic sensor cause much of it. Clearing ice piled against the bin control is a safe first step; testing and replacing a sensor is a technician's. ### Usually leads to Ice machine bin control repair The thermostat bulb, paddle, curtain switch or electronic eye that senses a full bin, adjusted or replaced so the machine stops and restarts on time. ### Shows up as Ice Machine Error Code or Flashing Light: What It Is Telling You An ice machine error code may show as a number on a small display, a pattern of blinking lights on the control board, a colored light on the front, or a machine that stops with one indicator flashing. ### Make Monogram For a Monogram ice machine built into cabinetry, the technician plans access to the drain and water connections before pulling anything forward. ### Source Monogram UCC15NP clear-ice machine owner's manual (GE Appliances) Monogram UNC15NP nugget and UCC15NP clear-ice machines. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Close the door fully and listen for the tone to stop. 02 Check that ice, the scoop or the custom panel is not holding the door slightly open. 03 If the alarm sounds with the door shut, book a visit to check the door switch and the panel alignment. ### Still there? Close the door fully and listen for the tone to stop. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I turn off the Monogram ice machine door alarm? Yes. Pressing Power, Clean and Filter Reset together disables it, and the same press turns it back on. ### Why does my Monogram door alarm go off with the door closed? The door is likely not closing against the switch, often because the custom panel or hinge has shifted. Book a visit if closing it firmly does not stop the tone. ### Does leaving a Monogram ice machine door open melt the ice? Warm room air speeds melting and adds water for the drain to handle, so close it once the alert sounds. --- **[Read on the site: Monogram door alarm: the ice machine door has been open two minutes](https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/monogram-door-alarm/)** **[Book a visit with IceMachineRepair.center](https://icemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
