--- title: "U-Line nugget ice machine with all three lamps blinking (Er01)" description: "What Er01 means on U-Line nugget ice machine with all three lamps blinking (Er01)s, what to check before booking, and when it is not a failure at all." url: "https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/u-line-er01/" --- # U-Line nugget ice machine with all three lamps blinking (Er01) Once ice making starts, the evaporator should drop well below freezing. ## What Er01 actually means. Once ice making starts, the evaporator should drop well below freezing. If it is still at 32°F or above after 30 minutes, the control blinks ICE, NO WATER and DRAIN together and records Er01. U-Line's service steps include a refrigerant leak check and a sensor check, so this is a sealed-system question. U-Line ice machine display · also shown as ICE, NO WATER and DRAIN lamps blinking What to do when Er01 shows on the ice machine ### Kind of code Cooling system The board saw temperatures or pressures that the sealed system should never reach: a discharge line too hot, a suction side that never cools, or a compressor that starts and stops on its overload. A dirty condenser can push a healthy system into this family, so it is the first thing to rule out; a low charge, a leak or a tired compressor is not. On many current machines that system holds R-290, which is flammable, and only a technician opens it. ### Usually leads to Ice machine compressor and sealed system repair The compressor, its start parts and the sealed system, including machines on flammable R-290, tested for pressure and leaks and repaired by the maker's procedure. ### Shows up as Ice Machine Error Code or Flashing Light: What It Is Telling You An ice machine error code may show as a number on a small display, a pattern of blinking lights on the control board, a colored light on the front, or a machine that stops with one indicator flashing. ### Make U-Line U-Line ice machine visits in a home bar start at the drain, since a slow line affects both the ice and the floor around it. ### Source U-Line URNP115 15-inch nugget ice machine user guide U-Line 1 Class RNP115 and Outdoor ONP115 nugget ice machines, which report through the ICE, NO WATER and DRAIN lamps beside the light button. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from U-Line's own guidance for Er01 on its ice machines. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Turn the machine off and check that the condenser grille at the front is not blocked. 02 Make sure the room is within the range the guide allows for the model. 03 Book a visit; U-Line asks for power to be restored only after the cooling problem is solved, and a leak check on R-290 is a technician's job. ### Still there? It usually turns into [ice machine compressor and sealed system repair](https://icemachinerepair.center/services/ice-machine-compressor-and-sealed-system-repair/). Book with the code and the model number. ### What not to do Er01 is the 30-minute check; Er03, with only the ICE lamp blinking, is a similar warm-evaporator check made at 10 minutes. All three lamps lit steady, not blinking, is Er25, the opposite problem of an evaporator that got too cold. ## What you may notice with it. The ice machine problems Er01 tends to arrive with. Turn the machine off and check that the condenser grille at the front is not blocked. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Does Er01 on my U-Line nugget machine mean a leak? It can. A leak check is on U-Line's list for this pattern, along with the sensor and its mounting. ### Can I clear Er01 by unplugging the U-Line? Power can be cut and restored, but U-Line asks for the cooling problem to be fixed first, so the pattern will return if nothing changed. ### What if I smell gas near a U-Line with all lamps blinking? Leave switches and flames alone, open windows, step out and book a visit; call 911 if the smell is strong. These machines run on a flammable refrigerant. --- **[Read on the site: U-Line nugget ice machine with all three lamps blinking (Er01)](https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/u-line-er01/)** **[Book a visit with IceMachineRepair.center](https://icemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
