The evaporator outlet sensor tells the control how cold the drum is getting, and every cooling check relies on it. When it reads open or shorted, ICE and NO WATER blink together, and U-Line's step is to check the sensor and its mounting and restart after the repair. U-Line ice machine display · also shown as evaporator temperature sensor error What to do when ICE and NO WATER blinking shows on the ice machine ### Kind of code Sensors and bin control A sensor is telling the board something that is not true: a bin control that reads full on an empty bin, or empty while ice spills over the top, a curtain switch stuck open, a temperature sensor out of range, or an eye on a dispenser that no longer sees the cup. Scale and slime on a probe or an ultrasonic sensor cause much of it. Clearing ice piled against the bin control is a safe first step; testing and replacing a sensor is a technician's. ### Usually leads to Ice machine bin control repair The thermostat bulb, paddle, curtain switch or electronic eye that senses a full bin, adjusted or replaced so the machine stops and restarts on time. ### Shows up as Ice Machine Error Code or Flashing Light: What It Is Telling You An ice machine error code may show as a number on a small display, a pattern of blinking lights on the control board, a colored light on the front, or a machine that stops with one indicator flashing. ### Make U-Line U-Line ice machine visits in a home bar start at the drain, since a slow line affects both the ice and the floor around it. ### Source U-Line URNP115 15-inch nugget ice machine user guide U-Line 1 Class RNP115 and Outdoor ONP115 nugget ice machines, which report through the ICE, NO WATER and DRAIN lamps beside the light button. ## Before you book, in this order. Turn the machine off. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does my U-Line nugget machine stop with ICE and NO WATER blinking? The evaporator sensor has lost its reading, so the control cannot run a safe cycle. ### Can a loose sensor clip cause this on a U-Line? Yes. U-Line lists the attachment as well as the sensor itself. ### Will the machine restart on its own after this pattern? No. It starts again after the sensor is repaired. --- **[Read on the site: U-Line nugget ice machine with ICE and NO WATER blinking: evaporator sensor](https://icemachinerepair.center/error-codes/u-line-ice-no-water-blinking/)** **[Book a visit with IceMachineRepair.center](https://icemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
