Er25 is a low-temperature stop. Marvel ties it to a cold room and asks for the machine to run where the air is above 50°F. It shows up most on outdoor models in cool weather.

The board saw temperatures or pressures that the sealed system should never reach: a discharge line too hot, a suction side that never cools, or a compressor that starts and stops on its overload. A dirty condenser can push a healthy system into this family, so it is the first thing to rule out; a low charge, a leak or a tired compressor is not. On many current machines that system holds R-290, which is flammable, and only a technician opens it.
