What 4 beeps
actually means.

The first two high-pressure trips in an hour give three beeps and reset themselves. A third trip in the same hour changes the alarm to four beeps and needs a manual reset. Hoshizaki recommends leaving the unit off until the cause is found, because repeated high pressure risks serious damage. Anything that keeps the condenser from shedding heat, such as a blocked air intake, can drive pressure up.

What not to do

Four beeps are not a water shortage; that is one beep on a DCM. The KM cuber table does not use four beeps.

Where 4 beeps usually leads

Ice machine condenser and fan repair.

Condenser cleaning, fan motor, water regulating valve or remote condenser work · low to moderate.

Questions
about 4 beeps.

Can I clear 4 beeps myself?
Switch the dispenser off and leave it off, as Hoshizaki recommends. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Can I keep my Hoshizaki dispenser running after 4 beeps?
Hoshizaki recommends leaving it off until the alarm is resolved, because repeated high pressure can do serious damage.
What is the difference between 3 and 4 beeps on a Hoshizaki dispenser?
Both come from the high-pressure switch. Three beeps are the first two trips in an hour and reset themselves; four beeps are the third trip and need a reset.
Does a dusty filter cause 4 beeps on a Hoshizaki dispenser?
It can. A condenser that cannot shed heat lets pressure climb, so keep the intake clear.

A booking with a code goes further when it carries the light or code copied as it appeared, the model and serial off the data plate, and a word on whether cubes still fall into the bin. With those three in hand, our office can match the probable part to your machine the same afternoon.
