What 2
actually means.
On a cuber, harvest ends when the ice pushes the curtain open. If 3.5 minutes pass without that, the controller shuts the machine off for 50 minutes and tries again; a blinking 2 is that retry, a steady 2 is the stop after the third failure. On a CM3 nugget or flake machine, 2 means the auger motor went over its power limit; three overloads in a row stop it.

A freeze ran longer than the board allows, or a harvest started and the ice never fell. Scale on the evaporator holds the sheet to the plate, a thickness probe crusted with minerals never signals, a hot gas valve that does not open leaves the plate cold, a harvest assist that does not push, or a water curtain that swings without tripping its switch all end in this family. A cleaning cycle run by the manual often clears it; a valve or a probe is a technician's job.

On a nugget or flake machine, listen for grinding or knocking from the evaporator area and switch it off if you hear it.
