What Er15
actually means.

The nugget machine fills a reservoir and a level sensor watches it. If the sensor sees no water for two minutes, the NO WATER lamp blinks and the event is recorded as Er15. The control tries again on its own after five minutes.

What to do when Er15 shows on the ice machine

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from U-Line's own guidance for Er15 on its ice machines. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Open the machine's supply valve all the way and make sure the tubing behind the unit has no sharp bends.

02

Wait at least five minutes for the automatic retry once water is back.

03

If the lamp keeps blinking with good water pressure, book a visit to test the inlet and the level sensor.

Still there?

It usually turns into ice machine water valve and filter repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

A steady NO WATER lamp simply reports low supply, while blinking means the two-minute limit was reached. When NO WATER blinks together with other lamps, it is a sensor or cooling pattern, not a water supply problem.

What you may
notice with it.

The ice machine problems Er15 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the ice machine before anyone is booked.

Questions
about Er15.

Can I clear Er15 myself?
Open the machine's supply valve all the way and make sure the tubing behind the unit has no sharp bends. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Does a U-Line nugget machine restart by itself after Er15?
Yes, the manual says it resets after five minutes. It will stop again if the water still does not arrive.
Can a shared water line cause Er15 on my U-Line?
A line shared with another appliance, a clogged inline filter or a small saddle valve can starve the machine. Check the pressure where the machine connects.
What does U-Line check for Er15 on a visit?
Supply pressure and the water level sensor, then the machine is restarted.

A booking with a code goes further when it carries the light or code copied as it appeared, the model and serial off the data plate, and a word on whether cubes still fall into the bin. With those three in hand, our office can match the probable part to your machine the same afternoon.
